To Snooze or Not to Snooze

Jumping out of bed at that first alarm clock can be tough but I promise you it's worth it! Snoozing the extra 10, 15, 20, etc. minutes won't give you much more beauty sleep and instead create a chaotic, stressful morning. Try changing the gruesome iPhone alarm to something soothing like "unfold" (go to alarm > click alarm time > choose sound). 

Tongue Scrap

Yes, you have heard it on every health and wellness podcast but trust me, it works! You want to get all that gunk from the last 6+ hours off your tongue - but don't brush your teeth yet, we will get to that later. 

ELIXIR: Lime + Turmeric + Aloe + Celtic Salt + + Ginger + Olive Oil

Lemon water is great but what if you created the ultimate morning elixir? 

Elixir Ingredients:

  • Filtered Water
  • Lime 
  • Turmeric Powder
  • Ground Ginger (Frozen or Fresh)
  • Celtic Salt
  • Aloe Vera Juice
  • Olive Oil

Elixir Recipe:

  1. Boil Hot water 
  2. Add Half Hot Water + Half Room Temperature Filtered Water To A Blender (~28 Ounces Total)
  3. Squeeze In A Full Lime
  4. Add Turmeric Powder
  5. Add Frozen Ground Ginger (Thank You, Trader Joes)
  6. Add Aloe Juice (Please Get Pure Aloe Juice, There Should Be No Other Ingredients But Aloe + Lemon!)
  7. Pinch Of Celtic Salt
  8. Add A Tablespoon of Good Olive Oil
  9. Blend! If You Don't Have A Blender, Use A Hand Frother
  10. Pour Out Into A Mason Jar 
  11. Enjoy! 

This morning elixir is great for getting your digesting going and hydrating your whole body. The Turmeric will give you a great glow and the Olive Oil is incredible for your health. Don't fear the Olive Oil calories, I promise fats are not scary, they are good healthy fats, which in moderation won't make you fat.

This Elixir was inspired Ayurveda practices and all the wellness gurus.

Bonus

After your Elixir, drink a small cup of bone broth, which is great for protein and collagen.
